4 Days Lake Mburo & Queen Elizabeth

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

You will be picked up from the airport on arrival and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. En route to the Park, you will have a stopover at Mpambire drum village and at the Equator at Kayabwe for photographs and the experiment. Proceed and have a lunch stopover in Masaka town and then later drive towards the Park. Upon entering the park through Nshara Gate, a game drive en-route will be a rewarding activity which will enable you to encounter many of the Parks’ flora and fauna with most wildlife grazing side by side with the Ankole domestic Cattle. You will then go for a 2 hours boat ride on Lake Mburo in the afternoon / evening which will get you quite close to Crocodiles and Hippos. Dinner and overnight stay at Eagle’s Nest Lodge (Budget) or Rwakobo Rock (mid-range)

Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up to an early morning breakfast and go for a game drive in search of the early risers and all other wildlife that you missed out in the previous game drive including the newly introduced giraffes.
Return to the Lodge for refreshments and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Kazinga Channel View Resort (budget) or Enganzi game lodge. (Mid-range)

Day 3: Game Drive & Launch Cruise – Queen Elizabeth

Go for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot a lot of wildlife including African elephants, buffalos, antelopes, impala, among others and a lot of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast, relax a bit and enjoy your lunch.

In the afternoon, go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel inside Queen Elizabeth Park where you will come up close with hippos, crocodiles among other aquatic life and an array of birds on the bay! Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Kampala

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch, arriving Kampala in the evening. Drop off to your hotel in Kampala or the Airport for your onward flight.
