2 days tree-climbing lions adventure is an extraordinary safari that will take you to Queen Elizabeth national park which is the second largest national park in Uganda. Queen Elizabeth national park is the only destination in Uganda harboring the tree-climbing lions and they are found in the Ishasha sector, the southern part of the park. The tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector will be viewed during the game drive lying up in acacia, fig tree branches.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1 of the 2 days tree-climbing lions adventure
- Arrival and transfer to Ishasha sector, Queen Elizabeth national park, depending on the time of arrival at Entebbe airport on the first day of the 2 days tree-climbing lions adventure our driver guide will pick you up, brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park in southwestern part of Uganda. On the way you will have a stopover at Igongo cultural center for lunch and then continue the journey that is filled with spectacular views of beautiful scenery, crater lakes, Rwenzori Mountains, tea and banana plantations, homesteads among others. You will pass within the park and have views of some animals like elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs among others as you continue to Ishasha sector in the southern part of the park. Upon arrival you will continue to the lodge, have dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala
- Morning game drive, after an early breakfast on the last day of the 2 days tree-climbing lions adventure your driver guide will pick you up to go for a game drive within the Ishasha sector. During the game drive, you will view the tree climbing lions lying up in acacia, fig tree branches staring at the antelopes feeding in the open savannah plains. Lions in the Ishasha sector are believed to climb trees due to various factors such as to run away from biting insects, to escape from ground heat, to have a clear view of the prey among others. You will also be able to view other animals like elephants, topi, Uganda kobs, warthogs, buffaloes, waterbucks, hippos, bird species like giant kingfisher, grey-headed kingfisher, long-tailed nightjar, white-headed barbet, African green pigeon among others. After the game drive you will drive out of the park and start the journey to Kampala with en-route lunch and a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe where you will but souvenirs and take photos. From the Equator you will continue the journey to Kampala and upon arrival, your driver-guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight.
