King Fisher Lodge Kichwambwa
King fisher lodge, is situated in Queen Elizabeth national park in south west Uganda around the kichambwa area of the park.
The lodge is located just outside the park over viewing the vast Savannah vegetation plains over 200 meters above the plains overlooking the mountain ranges of Rwenzori and the indigenous Kazinga channel.
The lodge consists of skillfully built bandas in African style grass thatched but with a western touch. Accommodation units from the inside making tourists feel their in an African homestead or typical village the hotel is under a Germany management making it superb with a western touch in every room and surrounding.
The lodge offers variety of mouth watering menus from local and international cuisine foods prepared on order giving you a choice to select what you want to eat at a given time food can be eaten from the restaurant or delivered in the room after making a call.
The hotel also boasts with two majestic outdoor swimming pools for kids and adults where you can cool off after a long afternoon heat on the game drives with a sun downer, sunscreens are a must carry if you burn easily because theirs a lot of heat from the equatorial sun you can also come along with binoculars for viewing wildlife from the pool side as wildlife and birds are often seen from within and far-off valley.
The check-in time to the lodge is from 12:00pm east African time and check out by 10:00am East African time an identity card will be required to check-in to the lodge the maximum stay for children is 12 years and above.

You can see a signpost of the lodge on the left from Ishasha the lodge is about 500 meters from the the signpost
About 6 hours via Masaka road without traffic.
