Queen Elizabeth safari camp, is an accommodation unit found in Queen Elizabeth national Game Park in the south western part of Uganda. The park is the country’s second biggest park containing a ramsar wetland site.

The queen Elizabeth safari camp, is perched in the Kyambura escarpment with excellent clear views of Rwenzori Mountains also known as mountains of the moon.

The camp is a fifteen minute drive to the Katuguru gate of the park built with an African touch of local materials thatched with papyrus got from within the swamps in the park, the camp has got number of self-contained rooms plus hot water and cold water showers available the camping area has shared bathrooms and toilets.

The queen Elizabeth safari camp, is also pocket friendly and mostly used by tourists on budget range alongside very warm welcoming staff on arrival. They also serve very delicious meals and limited number of cold and hot drinks is available

Queen Elizabeth national park boasts with rich diversity hence harboring numerous numbers of wild life in each sector for example you can take a boat cruise at the stunning Kazinga channel, linking lake Edward and George here you can  see hippos as close as two meters from your boat with crocodiles and lots of wild animals on the lake shores.

Take game drive to the Ishasha sector of the park and see the unique tree climbing lions not recorded elsewhere except lake Manyara in Tanzania, the lions lazily lie on acacia and sycamore trees siting their prey. As they roam on the endless plains, you can also take a chimpanzee trekking tour to the great Kyambura situated in the Albertine rift valley habituating primates like the olive baboon, blue monkey, white and black Columbus monkeys among the rest or visit the great crater lakes surrounding the whole park another option is a nature walk from the rain forests in queen Elizabeth national park.
